Find out where to focus your energy

Working is one thing. WHY to work is another.

Have you ever wondered if you are doing a job that is nourishing you instead of draining you?

Let’s assume that you answered all the 12 questions of part 2 and you found out that you enjoy doing patch-work and you forget that time passes while you are studying psychology. You have studied biology and you love learning about different features of plants and animals. You hate working with narrow-minded people and you love learning about technology. You also want your work to have an immediate impact on people’s lives and more specifically on children’s lives. You also don’t mind traveling a couple of times per year for work, but you prefer working alone.

How could you combine all this information to find your dream job?

A job that you will focus your energy to grow and expand and not a job that will suck your energy day in, day out.

You could start with a Google search or a LinkedIn research to find profiles of different people who did some similar jobs. You could also read biographies of different people. I strongly encourage you to go out with interesting people that you find during your research and ask them about different questions regarding things that you would like to learn about them or their work.

Socialize and network with people totally outside your field. You will feel better and see the world from a different perspective. Sometimes it is difficult to hear and trust our inner voice because of the situation we are at the current moment, the limiting beliefs or the insecurities that we carry or because we lack awareness regarding the different possibilities available to us.

Another option you have, is to get some help from someone who has experience in mentoring life scientists put the pieces of the puzzle together and discover how to unlock their full potential, build a successful career and live a fulfilling life.

So, if you want to:

– Live your life under your own terms while following your heart.
– Realize your dreams without overthinking or setting obstacles to yourself.
– Get out of the situation that you are right now FAST.
– Use some help putting the pieces of the puzzle together after answering the 12 questions of part 2.
